Two brand boards, one wedding design: her Death Valley neutrals and Paso Robles wine obsession met his tiki bar energy and love for bougainvillea.
She’s the engineer—analytical, detail-oriented, minimalist. He’s the pilot—colorful, sentimental, tropical. Our job? Blend the two without letting one overpower the other.
We started with a buttercream Panama linen: tropical in texture, neutral in tone.
Florals leaned into the sunset shades with blushes and dried bougainvillea—her love of arid landscapes meets his favorite flower.
The napkins looked like creamy stone, but up close revealed blind-embossed philodendron leaves.
We snuck in her wine-tasting class roots with pink glassware and poured some of their favorite bottles tableside.
His love of aviation as a pilot? Paper airplane seating charts and place cards. A splash of tropical green made its entrance behind the band.
His love of music? Live music all day long.
Every element was a nod—to where they met, how they travel, what they collect, and the way their worlds blend.
Visual balance, layered meaning.
That’s the design sweet spot.
