No music- this is the sound of Sacred Rage.
--------
I just got home from seeing my mom on her death bed. The energy pulsating through my body was vibrating & had to come out...
so I took it to the heavy bag.
The heavy bag came with the garage- my holding & healing space. At times I've taken a chalk marker to it- wrote out all my hurts, whipped its ass- then hugged it till my tears ran dry. The very first time I waylaid on it, I bent the racket... when I could no longer hold on to my hurt of Tullia dying. That time I removed so much energy and rage from my body that I physically made myself sick & threw up.
It's vital to remove these types of energies.
Remember, The body is keeping a score.

Sacred rage is a form of purposeful, heart-centered anger that arises in response to injustice, boundary violations, or oppression. It is not destructive or ego-driven retaliation; rather, it is a tool for personal healing, boundary-setting, and positive systemic change.
The concept of sacred rage flips the cultural conditioning that teaches us anger is inherently "bad" or out of control. Instead, it frames this fierce emotion as a powerful, necessary life force.
Key characteristics of sacred rage include:
It is rooted in love and truth: Rather than wanting to harm others, it stems from a profound love for the self, the Earth, or marginalized communities. It is your inner voice saying, "I am not okay pretending anymore".
It serves as a catalyst for transformation: It acts as a fire that clears away confusion and motivates action. It gives you the energy to protect what matters most and hold others accountable.
It is often intergenerational: Sacred rage often carries the unspoken grief and boundary violations of your lineage or community.
It requires conscious embodiment: Because it is intense, it is most healing when channeled intentionally (through practices like deep breathing, movement, or vocal expression) rather than suppressed or impulsively acted out.
