Chrissy and Dave built the pavilion for their wedding reception in just three days so their guests had somewhere to sit for dinner.
That detail tells you everything you need to know about who they are, and it’s exactly why this wedding looked and felt the way it did.
My job was to take that energy and build a world around it. Enter: a rally car garage turned funky greenhouse wedding reception, grounded in native Texas plants and layered with color and texture and candlelight until the whole thing resembled an iridescent mermaid. 🧜♀️
I always start the design process by getting to know my couples. What they care about, what makes them them, what they’d never compromise on. When I know that, every decision, from the color palette and linen texture to the plants on every table that guests took home, has a reason behind it.
That’s the experience I’m always building toward. One where you feel it, your guests feel it, and nobody wants to go home.
