Day of Lily is 5 years old today 🤍
We’re celebrating later this week, so I’ll spare you most of my sentimental ramblings and just share a quick compliment we recently received.
I spoke to a mother-of-the-bride who had been referred to us by a past client’s mother. She shared that she’d worked with a wedding planner previously for another event, said she did a great job, and described her as impressive and accomplished. She’d heard and seen our work at her friend’s daughter’s wedding, and said “I want to be cared for in the way I saw my friend cared for.” She specifically sought us out because of the moments of genuine, intentional care she’d witnessed, and wanted that for her own upcoming celebration.
Please hear me when I say that our team is not lacking in credentials: we average 9 years of event planning experience between the 5 of us, will have just below 300 weddings under our belt as a business by the end of 2026, and 4 out of 5 of us have personally executed over 100 weddings in our careers. Our work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Tribeza, The White Wren, WedSociety, and more. I’m spoiled rotten with a team who all have “impressive” bragging rights and who all choose not to use them.
But to be known for our genuine care - that’s all I could ask for. Frame it. Put it in the portfolio. Hey look mom, I’ve made it. To me, there is no higher compliment.
