Hey friends! Kat here 👋🏻

It has been a while since I’ve done a spotlight Thursday post, but after having the amazing opportunity to work with who provided my fellow planners and I with some summertime headshots, I figured it was worth a much needed “me” post!

Unwrapped & Uncorked Events celebrated its 8️⃣ year anniversary this summer and I’m so grateful I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing couples, clients, and industry partners. The Austin wedding market is truly a warm and inviting place to plan weddings and I’m happy to be a part of it!

It has been decades of me of dreaming about having my own wedding planning business and I feel so fortunate to have been able to live that dream over the last eight years along with my second full time job of being a mom to two (soon to be three!) great kiddos and a wife to my college sweetheart turned husband. It’s a tricky juggle being a mom, wedding planner, and business owner, but it’s one I wouldn’t change for anything and that I’m very proud of!

When I’m not planning within my business, I’m usually planning some sort of themed party, taking my family to our neighborhood lazy rivers for pool time, crafting, trying new recipes, learning & sampling new wines, and trying a tiki concoction (compliment of my hubby) outside at our backyard tiki bar 🌺🥂

Friends are like walls. Sometimes you lean on them and sometimes it’s just enough to know they are there. Having those special friends from different stages of your life by your side is such an incredible part of a wedding day. The support and pure joy of having those loved ones there on such a memorable day is beyond heartwarming and something you will always remember.

This is one of our favorite bridesmaids photos captured from a past wedding. The genuine smiles and emotions seen through all of these lovely ladies in support of Amy on her wedding day is incredible.

served signature drinks out of these cups later in the evening once the dance floor opened up for Talia & Andy’s wedding.

With so many out of town guests, this is such a fun touch to include the “I Love You So Much” Austin sign into their signature cocktails.
