Planned and coordinated a holiday party for Juniper Village Senior Living in Austin this evening. The families and seniors enjoyed the evening with delicious food, drinks, decor, and live music from Bob Apple and band. Happy holidays!

Hello, I’ve noticed I have quite a few new followers over the past couple weeks and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Shelly and my normal 9-5 job is a recreation director at at local retirement home. I’ve been there over 24 1/2 years. I have so much experience with planning and executing large events like holiday party’s, spring dances, carnivals, car show’s etc. I work with vendors to help with events and keep them on our timeline.
In 2019 my cousin was getting married and asked me to be the one to assist the coordinator. To be honest I was the coordinator. They made my child dream of being a wedding coordinator come true for a night. At this wedding I met a bride who loved what I was doing and hired me for her wedding. From there it snowballed and have been honored to be a part of so many couples special day.
I help at the rehearsal with getting the wedding party in line and cueing them when to go down the aisle. I help with set up, be the contact for the vendors and to keep them on track with the timeline, tear down, and help where needed.
