Goodbye August, Hello September! 🎂

WHAT A MONTH!!! Dare I say, the best month 😉

August gave me so much as a small business owner and a surviving human in society. When I started my business I had one goal in mind, I wanted to give myself freedom- freedom to live and enjoy life, I wanted the ability to provide a slow, simple and calm life for myself all while doing & building something I love. Growing up in trauma as a sensitive baddie I knew my nervous system needed a break and I am so proud of the life I built for myself and I am finally feeling comfortable in it. One thing I will never take for granted! 💛

So let this be your sign, bet on yourself! You never know the life you can give yourself if you just believe in yourself.

August showed me the results of that hard work. I got to explore new cultures, visit amazing places, celebrate another blessed year on this earth, surround myself around my amazing friends & family more (the true backbones in my life). AND we also brought another little life into our family 😭🫶🏼 (of course in true cousin fashion we had to welcome them in the only way we know how- with laughter, God, gifts and blessings). I also built more trust into the business, I had a team of amazing ladies solo manage a 400 person event (zero contact- I was on a 10 hour plane ride) and they absolutely killed it flawlessly!!! And we’ve been comfortably able to manage overlapping weddings- before that used to stress me out! And all while still doing what I love, creating amazing spreads for you! So many blessing life has brought us this year but this month alone has been amazing and I truly can’t wait to see what’s in store for September! 💛🧀

Let’s build a monthly corporate happy hour runner! 🧀

Quick answers:
- 1 1/2 hour build time with minimal to no prep time beforehand
- *Correction on the happy hour timeframe (1 1/2 hour not 2 1/2 hours)
- Up to 150 guest (yes it’s plenty- we always have leftovers)
- No the cheese or anything else does not gets soggy due to the fruit (fruit is dried before placement)
- Yes it’s delicious! 😋

Today we worked with the Once Upon A Farm organic strawberry shortcake power wheel bar and added our boujee twist to create a delicious & fun treat! 🍓

What a fun & luxury treat The Waller at Symphony Square provides for their residents 🥰

For this large runner it can serve 100+, it did however take us longer than the 50 original minutes we gave ourselves, but nonetheless it got done prior to the event start time so that’s a win in our books! lol. But for any vendors recreating this size make sure to plan accordingly (this took us 90 minutes to complete with two sets of hands working) and half cheese prepping on site.
