I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year! Today we will be closing at 3pm to celebrate this handsome little boy!!! 6 years ago he made me a mommy for the first time!!! Happy birthday Gary keep being you and I hope you never loose the genuine love you have for people or your beautiful happy spirit! What you don’t see behind the scenes of this amazing photo is a boy who was terrified of a noisy wide open gym and an amazing teacher who went out of her way and literally got on the ground to hold him steady and hold a stuffed animal to sooth him. Mrs. Bishop you are a rockstar!!!

The shop will be closed tomorrow Saturday 10/19. I’ll be out of town doing a wedding. With the services for Wanda Baker and Diana Smith on Saturday and Monday at Buchanan funeral home, if you are wanting to order arrangements for the services please get your orders in today. I’ll be here late tonight working between funerals and weddings. I will have to step out of the shop from 1p-3p today for center days at AES and a funeral in Madison. I do as always have the shop’s phone transferred to my cell and the doors to the shop will be open till 7pm tonight to accommodate needs.

Happy last day of the first week of school for the 24/25 school year! If you’re reading this then you’ve made it through the first week!!! Today we’re running a special for techers, lunch staff, SRO’s, education staff and all of the school staff who making sure every child in Scott county has the best education, full bellies, protection and a clean atmosphere! If you want to send a thank you to any of them we have a special today for $25 with free delivery to SCSD1 and SCSD2. Orders must be placed by 1:30 to ensure delivery today and there are limited amounts so it will be a first come first serve basis. Call (812) 794-2740 to place your order!

And the fun has begun!!! All checked in, registered and I enjoyed an amazing dinner out with some of the regional directors this evening! So many beautiful arrangements all around the hotel. The show will kick off shortly with the designers best from last year competing and I can’t wait to watch them work! This has already been such an amazing experience!

Good morning!!!! I will have the shop closed on Friday (08/02/24) at 1pm and all day Saturday(80/03/24). This year Marti’s House of Flowers was invited to attend the Run for the roses 66th annual convention. I am super excited and honored to be a chosen guest. This event will have florists and vendors from across the country. We will be able use this time to learn through classes provided by top florists from all over the US, compete in design competitions, speak to vendors to get the best pricing for our customers. I am sorry for the inconvenience however I couldn’t pass this opportunity up. Wish us luck as we learn and compete this weekend!!!!

Good morning we will be open till noon today for carry out only. I’m currently delivering a funeral to Madison and should be back at the shop around 10am.
