What do you do when you find injured wildlife in need of help? CALL A WILDLIFE REHABILITATOR - not your friend, not social media - or call a WILDLIFE OFFICER, OR A VETERINARIAN - even if they cannot help they may be able to connect you to someone who can. Stop asking on social media, it is not the place for it, there are laws and certifications in place to protect people and animals. Animals may also carry diseases transferable to people, do not handle an animal unless it is safe to. Through another rehabber we were able to get this owl hit by a car to a dedicated rehabilitation center with permission first - DO NOT DUMP ANIMALS at a facility you MUST CALL FIRST!
