Great summer dessert, fresh strawberry sorbet. Mash up strawberries, add sugar, chill for an hour. Then into an ice cream maker (I have the bowl attachment for the KitchenAid) 8 hours in the freezer.

Lasagna, layers of pasta, a sauce with or without meat, cheeses-mozzarella, Romano, Asiago, Parmesan, all baked together until it's bubbly and smelling awesome.

This is Spinach, Roasted Garlic Lasagna noodles that are gluten free, chicken & spinach sausages sliced and fried then thrown into a store bought sauce. Yup, store bought, there is no shame in taking shortcuts. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes covered, than 30 minutes uncovered. Spray your baking dish with a non stick spray before assembling to prevent sticking.

Let it rest at least 15 minutes before cutting into it. Me, I like to make a day ahead, let it cool, them cover and fridge.

We have the opportunity here in Denver to purchase a weekly box from a local group. A small box costs $18, from the box, this week I can develop several meals, a couple of salads, applesauce, orange juice, have healthy snacks all week and feed Mr. Smudge, our 3 # mini lop rabbit. There is never a reason to say eating healthy is expensive.

I'm sorry to say that I will be closing this page down & shutting down Who's in the Kitchen? Personal Chef Services by the end of the year. It's been a great ride, but I just can't do it anymore. I want to focus on my volunteering with a dog rescue and fighting against puppy mills.
