Life of a Showgirl came out, but we were celebrating the Life of a Bride with Abby 💍✨ She told me she themed her wedding around all the Taylor Swift albums even walking down the aisle to Timeless. When I asked how it felt that Taylor released on her wedding day, she laughed and said it was like getting a wedding gift from Taylor herself 🥹💕

It’s taken me a little while to make this post because this wedding was so much more than just an inquiry. 🥹

Last year after the hurricane hit Augusta. Freddy came by our home to talk about damages. There were so many people in and out but he was one of the few who truly listened and made sure we were taken care of.

Somewhere in those conversations he started talking about his girlfriend, Priscilla. The way his face lit up was unforgettable. He told me he wanted to propose in California and I laughed and said, “well, I’m a wedding photographer I’d love to capture it!” ✨

Fast forward to November I was in California photographing one of the sweetest proposals at Point Dume. And now I got to stand by them again on their wedding day. These full circle moments like this are why I love what I do.

It’s wild to think something as hard as that hurricane ended up bringing such a beautiful friendship and story into my life. Freddy & Priscilla your day was overflowing with love, joy, and the most amazing people. I’ll forever be grateful our paths crossed the way they did. Thank you for trusting me with your memories.
