Shana writes: Our engagement took place in Charleston, SC, during a quick weekend getaway. It was totally unexpected. On Saturday, July 26th, we had dinner reservations and took a walk down the Battery. I wanted to recreate a photo from a previous trip, and after we took the picture, we started heading toward the restaurant.

He took me by the hand and led me toward the center of the park in a grassy area. I was busy noticing the mushrooms growing in the shade when he called me by my full name. Everything else is history; I said yes and couldn't be happier!
