🍂 Head into Fall with Augusta Elks Lodge #964! 🍂
The Lodge’s Youth Activities Committee presented SKCDC (Head Start – Southern Kennebec Child Development Corporation) with $500 in gas and grocery cards, along with items to stock the essentials pantry they maintain for the families they serve.
During our September Head into Fall drive, Lodge members also generously donated several boxes of much-needed supplies, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and conditioner, feminine hygiene products, lotion, razors, handmade hats and mittens, and classroom supplies. These donations will help support local families who may be facing challenges this winter.
The Youth Committee also brought some seasonal fun for the children, with Halloween board books and small pumpkins to paint! 🎃📚
Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this drive a success. The pictures do not accurately portray how many items were actually donated! Once again demonstrating that ELKS CARE, ELKS SHARE! 💜
