One of our favorite people and our absolute favorite non-profit.
For years, I hated throwing out flowers when I met Jenna for the first time I knew instantly her intention was real & she would be a blessing to know.
If you don’t know, most wedding flowers are displayed beautifully in vases & urns that are rented either from the florist or a rental company. Which makes just dropping them off at a nursing home nearly impossible. At the end of a wedding weekend our team is wiped, the florist is wiped, the venue staff is wiped , and so is the family. As much as I would love to be able to volunteer my time to repurpose them after a wedding we just don’t have it in us.
Thank you Lilies of The Field for all that you do. We are so thankful you are in our story and we are in yours!
What will you do with your leftover wedding flowers?
Will they end up in a dumpster behind the venue?
Or will they keep blooming long after your last dance?
What if I told you that Lilies of the Field is a completely FREE vendor?
Yes — free. No pickup fee. No service charge. No hidden cost. We are a nonprofit and one of the only ministries of our kind that does this at no charge to the bride or vendor.
Love doesn’t stop at the aisle — it keeps blooming when you choose LOTF over trash.
We coordinate directly with your planner or venue.
We carefully pick up after your event.
We repurpose your flowers into new arrangements for nursing homes, assisted living communities, recovery facilities, and others who need hope.
We offer free pickup within a 50-mile radius of Auburn/Opelika, with extended radius availability for our Lake Martin and Alexander City areas.
