Hi Everyone!!
I am so excited to launch the food trailer business this Spring. Its been a long road but certainly worthwhile. I am going to the pace God desires from me. Please let me share what I have been up to lately. 😃.
First of all I thank God for slowing me down and waiting on Him for the next step. Since mid May I have been hands on learning more about caring for our home garden. As I am out there alone I feel the Lord presence and the Holy Spirit blesses me by bringing back agricultural scripture to my remembrance. Its truly one of my favorite quiet places to be.
I have recently been introduced to a cousin of mine. She is truly a gift to all who know her. My cousin, Sharon Johnson has a ministry cooking live on Facebook. She is a phenomenal renowned chef and shares her recipes, healthy tips for shopping and cooking techniques and her artistic flair of presentation - plating up her dishes. Sometimes she has guests on her show that also present along side of her. Sharon is so inspiring! She has a beautiful heart. One of her God given gifts is she is a phenomenal chef and has been for many years. Her ministry has taken her to a weekly online cooking show- “Cooking with Miss Ann.”
On her latest cooking show she introduced a beautiful woman that resides in New York that also has a God given gift but she is wonderful at gardening. Her name is Amina! I have been following her online and watching her YouTube videos. Like my cousin Sharon - what a blessing she is to this earth.
Amina is truly an inspiration. Between the cooking show and Amina's gardening youtube videos I am gaining wisdom. Which brings me to what I have been doing lately for the future Heavenly Manna customers!
I am exploding with the inspiration that has been poured into me. I have been working on creating seed packets to give away to those Heavenly Manna customers that come try our comfort foods and food service in the Spring time. Heavenly Manna will be giving away homemade seed paper packets. If you are uncertain what seed paper is I included a picture below. Funny story my husband came home from work on Friday and thought I baked up some cookies. If you look closely you will see the rose petals and seeds in the paper. I have cut the Black Eyed Susan flowers seed paper into a heart shape. The other is Homestead red tomato seed paper and it to will be eventually cut to a shape once it dries up more.
So seed paper is fun to make. Mine is made from recycled paper or paper bags with added rose petals and seeds from vegetables and or flowers. The seeds themselves can still germinate after the papermaking process and they can sprout when the paper is planted in soil a bit of water and sunshine. nd watered to grow your very own nutritious foods. I am currently drying the paper completely so I can tuck them away in their handmade envelopes (also shown in the pic below)
The paper is all natural and will break down in the dirt adding compost to enrich the soil structure and added fertility.
For all reading this post if you are motivated to eat healthier I encourage you to subscribe to both the weekly cooking show with Miss Ann (aka "the lady behind the silhouette") Sharon Johnson "Miss Ann is Sharon's brand name products stocked in several local grocery market locations!!

Sharon and Amina alike, have both blessed and encouraged me in many ways to keep giving and keep growing. Keep spreading goodness. It is wise to grow your own garden - it will provide you ways to grow organic non gmo foods. Grow heirloom seeds that have been around for many generations. Keeping the seeds after harvest will continue to bless you and your table full year after year without having to purchase new seed. Many foods consumed from the grocery markets have been modified to provide a longer shelf life with added preservatives and chemicals. Many cannot afford to buy organically grown foods and this can limit healthy choices for those that are on a limited income. Which makes gardening your own food another reason to give it a try!
Another reason is found in our Holy Bible. We need to take care of our precious vessels.
The Bible encourages this in scripture in
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
19: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20: for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body". Amen!
God is our Provider and the Creator of all. In the pic below the heart shaped seed paper is Black Eyed Susan flowers. They attract bees and butterflies I have been learning how beneficial some flowers can be to the garden in pollination and deterring harmful bugs and attracting ones of benefit to the plants they accompany. By attracting pollinators to your garden space it will greatly impact the taste and the abundance of your harvest yield.
We at Heavenly Manna encourages you to post your future pics here of your harvest and planting of garden seeds you will be receiving.
I cannot wait to see your gardens sprout up abundantly with nutritious blessings! May God, the Lord of the harvest continue to bless your hands at work and all that join you at your table. God is the Creator of all including all seeds and the Provider of all. We are thankful just like the manna in the wilderness God supplies our seeds and He supplies all our needs. We praise His Holy Almighty name. A name above all names and are eternally grateful for His provision. We've God all the glory!! Amen!! Heavenly Manna give God all the glory!!
Also, once you harvest and notice you have abundance of food If you are seeking a source we may be able to cook with your extras. For the last almost ten years my husband and I and now a expanded team of volunteers go out to the streets in several cities in King County and bless those hungry with hot meals, clean clothing and lots of love. There are many hungry in need another choice is donate to your local food bank.
I am closing with Genesis 1:12 "And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good". Amen -Thank you Jesus!
