🥧 I promised, peach pie, and here it is! There’s also four 🍐 pies in the oven to go with it!
🥖 Also, some cheese bread rising.

In the “refrigerator“ there is pesto, honey-butter(with CircleM Homestead honey!), pickled onions, and peach freezer jam

Here’s the deal! We’re in the middle of a house project with a deadline and today was paint day(which is my job) so Auburn Street Market had to wait. But… in between coats of drying paint, I did bake the loaves I had started yesterday.

They’re an experiment. I have 2 kids with birthdays on the same day and both of them wanted their OWN angel food cake so that left me with 24 egg yolks. Well, into the bread they went! And here’s what we came out with. A crusty exterior with a pale yellow, creamy, extremely soft interior. There is a slight egg taste, a bit like choux pastry. Topped with honey butter, it tastes like a cream puff.

I have 4 bags with a loaf of bread and an 8oz tub of honey butter. $12/bag.

If I have takers, I’ll drop them off at the market at 4. Message me if interested!

Ingredients:
Bread flour, rye flour, egg yolks, honey, salt, starter

Tonight’s jam flavors are fresh, flavorful, and farm-stand ready:

🍓 Old-Fashioned Strawberry Jam
Simple ingredients: strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and pectin. That’s it, just like grandma made.

🫐 Blueberry Jalapeño Jam
A little sweet, a little spicy. It's perfect for cheese boards, biscuits, or bold toast lovers.

Hey yall! I could use some help with the Auburn Street Market tomorrow! I need a couple-few people to help me set up tables and canopies, direct vendor traffic, even paint faces or run a game/activity?? I’ll be starting setup on the 10th St side of Legion Memorial Park around 2:30, Auburn Street Market Fall Market 2024 starts at 4:00. I have help with tear down. If you want to show up and help out, I’ll buy you a drink from Fantasy Flavors or Sonic!🫶 I will gladly sign volunteer/service hour forms for students
