To Our Incredible FIT Family & Friends,
After nearly 11 amazing years of chopping, sautéing, blending, roasting, and serving up health and happiness in over a half million meals - this chapter of the Foodies In Texas story is coming to a close.
This was not an easy decision. Foodies has been a labor of love from day one. What started as a small family operation in a little kitchen in Aubrey, TX grew into something far bigger than we could have imagined. We’ve been honored to be a part of your lives—helping you fuel your goals, feed your families, and feel better about what’s on your plate.
But as many of you know, I’ve been juggling a few new business ventures, and over the past year, those have taken off in ways I never could have predicted. The truth is, they now require more time and focus than I can give while still running Foodies the way it deserves to be run—with full attention, intention, and heart. Rather than let quality slip or continue burning the candle at both ends, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close this chapter with gratitude and grace.
To each and every one of you who has ordered a meal, shared a post, sent a friend our way, or supported us in any way—THANK YOU. You helped build something truly special. Your encouragement and loyalty have meant the world to me and my family, and we’ll never forget the trust you placed in us to help nourish yours.
Though Foodies is closing, the friendships, memories, and impact live on. And who knows? Maybe one day we’ll be back in a different way. For now, I’m excited (and a little nervous!) about what’s ahead—and I’ll always be cheering for each of you in your health, wellness, and life journeys.
With a heart full of gratitude,
Jerry Hightower
