A dream is a wish your heart makes, I’ve since I was 3 I was convinced that when I grow up I would be a mermaid. 🧜🏽‍♀️ To those who laughed at my dream, and told me I couldn’t, here I am free diving in 10-12ft of water in Ginnie Springs. This was the most unforgettable best trip I’ve taken and will do it again this year. I’ve met the best of merfolk from my pod and pods all around. My roommate that I bunked with was amazing and we had the best of time. This was an amazing trip I’ll never forget thanks to Ocean State Merfolk.

Achieving this is beyond my wildest dreams when your told your whole life you cannot be a mermaid and here I am living it breathing it, you can be your princess or queen in your own way and don’t let anyone else take that shine away.

Open water certification was hard and it was informative. It takes practice, dedication and time. Always being aware of your surroundings and what ocean or open body water has for fish and other aquatic life there. Being mindful of nature and preserving what we have and helping restore what we have lost

As summer is dying down I ask one thing is for you to collect a piece of trash that might have not left the beach or lake and throw it away or recycle ♻️ it.

#1 I did this for the little girl inside of me wanting to be a mermaid 🧜🏽‍♀️ since she was three.
#2 for all the times I was told by teachers Mermaids 🧜🏽‍♀️ don’t exist and you’ll never be one.
#3 for all the little girls and boys out there that are told the same thing
#4 for my love of water and exploration
#5 for my passion of the ocean and aquatic creatures that live in it.
#6 for me because it brings me joy, happiness and peace because when I’m under water there is no pressure for society of what to do or how to act.
#7 because in all true nature My heart and soul belongs to the water and the elements it becomes. (70 degree water is not cold to me its refreshing and healing)

These few weeks were tough in my house outside my house and everything in between and yet with everything going on and the support of David and my best merfriends Erin Walsh Christine Peer and Bekka Farquharson for your help with pulling this off. Special thanks to Kevin Walsh for taking videos of what you could see. Emotional doesn’t cut it, it was hard and it was dark but we all got through it I had a two legs cramp while doing my rescue dive so thank you to both Erin and Christine to Help me. Mermaid Elsa Snow Mermaid Elsa now is PADI open water certified.

Yesterday was my first day teaching a mermaid class to a child, not only did I fall in love with doing this I left crying cause I didn’t want to leave either. I had soo much fun teaching tips and tricks. I loved every moment and cannot wait to see her next week when we can go over more swim safety and mermaiding
