As far as I can remember I have always loved fashion. Whether it was shoes, clothes, bags or accessories, the bright colors and unique styles always caught my eye. My jewelry making adventure began in 2006. I was searching for some custom jewelry to match a dress. The search went on and I could not find anything. I decided to go into a craft store figuring “how hard could it be to make jewelry”. I
purchased some tools, beads and wire to make a necklace and earrings. I taught myself how to bead and LOVED it! I continued to make more jewelry for various outfits and before long I found that I had an inventory of custom pieces. People would also ask where did I get my jewelry and proud as can be, I would simply say “I made it”. As matter of fact, one person purchased a necklace and earring set that I was wearing. From that point on I started to make items for family and friends. In addition I would piggy back off other home parties to get my name out there. As I started to get busy with word of mouth orders, home parties and craft fairs, I engaged my very artistic niece, Anna, to assist me . Anna started to help me bead and her conservative designs were a nice addition to my funky design style. As we progressed, we decided to take our craftiness to another level. We would help family and friends with party decorations, party favors and centerpieces. While assisting a friend with a baby shower, someone had asked me if we decorate for a living and I said, yes we do, here is our card. From that day on we broadened our horizons with many different facets of the crafts. What started as a quest for a custom piece of jewelry has not become a business that includes making jewelry/beaded products; chocolates, party favors, centerpieces, invitations, decoupage products and much more. Our artistic ways will continue to grow and we will share Artisan Creations with you.
