Simply one of the most genuine couples Iā€™ve ever had the honor of photographing.

Family played such an important role throughout Emma and Michaelā€™s wedding day, and so many of the little moments made it feel incredibly personal and meaningful.

Emma got ready at her familyā€™s home while her and her bridesmaids took turns walking into downtown Spring Lake to get their hair done. She and Michael were married at Saint Catherineā€™s, the church connected to the school where they first met as kids. Like every jersey shore love story, they reconnected at The Parker House As Emma got dressed, a photo of her father looked over her, and she honored his memory by having his FDNY pin carefully pinned into her dress. It was such a beautiful and emotional way to have him with her on one of the biggest days of her life.

Meanwhile, Michael spent the morning with his family and groomsmen, kicking a soccer ball around, laughing, and simply enjoying the moments before heading to the church.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party piled onto the trolley and drove around Spring Lake singing, dancing, laughing, and having the absolute best time before heading to their reception.

And then came some of the sweetest moments of the night. Emma shared dances with both her stepfather and her godfather, and there wasnā€™t a dry eye in the room. Her brother then surprised everyone by serenading the couple with his guitar and a beautiful rendition of ā€œEarth Angel.ā€

The celebration continued into the night at Spring Lake B&T Club, overlooking the pool underneath a beautiful white tent on the most perfect September evening.

A day filled with family, memories, laughter, happy tears, and so much love. Emma and Michael, your wedding was such a beautiful reflection of the two of you, and Iā€™m so grateful I got to be there to document it all. šŸ¤

Ok Iā€™ve been MIA on posting but i swear Iā€™ve busy. Iā€™m savoring the last week of summer with my girls (went by WAY too fast) and of course trying to fit in all of the things before school starts. Youā€™ll see those little girls Iā€™m referring to in this post because they were the flower girls and they rocked it! My team and I had so much fun photographing Ilona and Mattā€™s wedding PARK LOFT šŸŒ³ even with a power outage during a crazy storm, the party went on! These two are child hood sweethearts and finally made it officially by partying it up with all their nearest and dearest. šŸ¤ I loved being a part of their day and wish we could do it again!
