Although weddings during COVID-19 have definitely required a bit (maybe a lot) of adjustments, Iβve been witnessing some of the most beautiful, thoughtful, and meaningful celebrations of love.
Justin and Renee originally planned for a 125 guest wedding at the Dekalb Courthouse in May of this year but COVID out the kabosh on those plans. After changing plans a few more times due to the continuous updates with the state of the pandemic, they decided to just go for it and make the best out of the situation.
We found a new, smaller venue for their much more intimate guest list (20 people) and live-streamed the ceremony to the other guests that could no longer be there in person. The couple even had the bright idea to do their first dance after being pronounced husband and wife so their guests could witness it. βΊοΈ
The reception space didnβt disappoint either! We reserved a private room at the perfect restaurant and it allowed them to still have their own little party with their loved ones. It was such a pleasure to witness everyone having a good time and most importantly, the couple still being able to get married with their loved ones close by.
These intimate gatherings my become my thing. I love them!
