If you’re ever in need of flowers - check our and . I admire their knowledge and work so much as they grow loads of amazing blooms locally.

It was such fun to receive flowers today from the 6th grade classes after their amazing performances of Hamlet. The 7th graders and I worked to remake the sets they used last year (for a beachy comedy) into a corporate high rise office space! We even made the elevator doors “work.” Having the flowers come from made it even better!

Aren’t Gabby and Chris stunning?

If you’re here looking for Valentine’s Day info, thanks, but I’ve put flowers on hold for the time being. At the end of September, I took a long term substitute position teaching art to 3rd-8th graders. It’s been a wonderfully timed gift for our family. It’s fun and challenging in unexpected ways and provides some consistency in income (running a business to make money isn’t my strongest skill set).

I’ll be there for the rest of this school year but still have my business legal. If you’ve got something big on the horizon, let me know - it just might work out.

I’ve been thinking lately about the temporality of my primary artistic medium. Which also leads to thinking about things that last. And the value of both.

Thankful for a long weekend and the ability to be a little spontaneous to take a 24hr trip to Nashville. Sing some some songs, hug some necks, eat some tacos and queso, and take a quick walk around part of Vandy.

Melissa, Charlie, Margo, and their family & friends were so much fun!

I loved all of the details from the terrarium centerpieces, Geode table numbers, the plant arch, and more - all with the amazing backdrop of the it was dreamy!! The yellow spray roses were a special wink to the brides late mother. 💛Hard to believe it was already a little over a year ago!

Eb N Flo flowers enjoyed some time off this summer! I continue to remain in a state of Eb with a September wedding on the horizon but otherwise focused on family things and putting out feelers/applying for jobs and/or figuring out how to realistically increase the (cash) Flo part of business while maintaining availability with our family’s pace of life.
