How was California? Well it was eventful.

We had the wonderful opportunity to capture love for our clients. The wedding was gorgeous! We spent the day with them before the wedding and learned about them through the speeches guest made before the wedding day at the welcome dinner. Then we enjoyed a beautiful wedding day in Disneyland. That was just magical. Photos coming soon. Absolutely magical!

Our final day was spent in the park with our clients and family on rides. This was fun and terrifying. lol.

Don’t judge I haven’t been on a ride in over 20 years. lol I also had no clue what I was getting on until it was too late. Never heard about the ride or looked it up. I just went with the flow. lol.

This was one of the greatest experiences. I am in awe of the beauty that was captured on this runway! Pnina Tornai did such an amazing job I am so honored to have been a guest at this show. NYBFW | New York Bridal Fashion Week was stunning!

Texture is everything when playing with lighting on wedding day and these dresses have just that. Each model has a different feel because of the texture in the dresses. I can’t wait to capture one of these.

October is already off to an incredible start, and I can’t help but pause and recognize just how blessed I am. 🖤

This year has been nothing short of amazing for LaJoy Photography. The growth, the opportunities, the incredible couples who continue to trust me with their memories, and the doors that keep opening. I’m genuinely grateful for all of it.

And now I’m kicking off October with my bags packed for Boston, California, and TWO trips to NYC!

Different cities. New faces. New stories. New opportunities to create the kind of imagery that makes you stop and remember exactly how it felt.

In finishing my 15th year in business, and I’m still amazed at where this camera continues to take me. From Atlanta to cities across the country, I don’t take a single booking, referral, opportunity, or mile traveled for granted.

God has been incredibly good to me, my family and my business.

Here’s to October, more creating, more traveling, more growth, and more moments that remind me why I started. 🖤

Your brand deserves to be seen and remembered.

Brand photography is so much more than taking a few pretty photos for your website or social media.

It’s about creating imagery that communicates your presence, personality, professionalism, and the experience you provide before a potential client ever speaks to you.

The right images can make someone pause while scrolling.
They can make your website feel more elevated.
They can help a potential client understand your brand without you having to say a word.

And most importantly, they allow people to see the person behind the business.

Your clients aren’t just investing in what you do. They’re investing in you, your expertise, your vision, and the experience of working with you.

So if you’re still using the same headshot from three years ago, random phone photos, or images that don’t really feel like you… it may be time to give your brand the visual identity it deserves.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a beautiful backdrop for an engagement session and a beautiful way to end the month of September.

I always suggest doing your engagement session in the fall or spring months. Never during the summer if you’re shooting outside. It’s too hot for all of that.
