Dragon Con Concourse Stage

We have a phenomenal lineup for our 40th year! Jazz, Nerd Rock, Celtic, with a little Filk tossed in for good measure! Concourse Presents will return to the Hyatt International North Ballroom Sunday night, followed by a themed Social Dancing Party! Bands and schedules are coming soon!

With our 40th Year Celebration less than 90 days away we need 6 new Volunteers who love live music and would like to help us produce the best small-stage shows in fandom! No experience is necessary (but always welcome!) - but there are a few qualifications needed:

Our Volunteers must be able to lift 25lbs and navigate the stage with cables and mics
Direct traffic/crowds with a smile (not line control, no yelling!)
Interact with a variety of artists - NO FANBOYS or FANGIRLS
Work 4 hours per day, or 20 hours total Friday-Monday
Tolerance for loud music is a must - especially at our later shows

And finally: The Dragon Con Concourse Stage is not an entry point for your band, your brother's/sister's/mom's band, your favorite genre band... we provide the platform, but we don't choose the acts.

Dragon Con 40 is just over 6 months away, and the Dragon Con Concourse Stage will be running full-tilt! I'm looking for a few additional Volunteers to help us bring the best music in Fandom to the people. No more than 20 hours of Volunteer time, and we're done by midnight!
