We bring our voices, talents, and artwork to the goal of Jeremy Gilley's foundation, Peace One Day : to raise awareness of September 21st and bring more peace and unity into the world.

2020 Active Space Yoga Reset!!
In this time of isolation, have you missed your practice and community? Is the Quarantine 15 real for you? Are you ready to get a jump on your post-lockdown lifestyle? In all serious, this is a great time for reflection. Our world has been flipped upside down the last two months and there is no better time for us to sit back and reflect and decide what is most important for us as we move forward. If you're ready for a reset, Join Jody virtually and the Active Space community as we follow Baron Baptiste's 40 Days to Personal Revolution.

Throughout the virtual program, you will be supported with weekly meetings through MindBody, where we will practice online and discuss the week's theme. Additionally, Jody's weekly slow power flow classes will be available through Instagram () to keep you moving. A private page will be available as well to support each other and share.

The safety and well-being of the Active Space community is our highest priority. As the level of concern surrounding the coronavirus heightens, we feel a strong responsibility to minimize any potential risk within the community.

Although there have been no known cases of coronavirus from staff or students, we want to ensure that this remains the case. In support of social distancing, we are suspending all public classes and events at Active Space/Active Sol Yoga, effective March 15th through March 31st, and will re-evaluate as we approach that date.

If you feel strongly about continuing a practice and wish to arrange a private, semi-private, or small group class, please hit reply or email us at [email protected] and we will see if we can arrange for a teacher to organize it. This is a great way to support your teachers during the approach of potentially financially trying times!

Please note, monthly autopay class passes and annual unlimited memberships will be suspended until March 31st and will be reactivated upon request when we re-open. Class package extensions will be accommodated if expiration falls within or near our closing dates.

Come see! This Saturday at 7:30 PM NACHMO (National Choreography Month) is held every January and is a social media driven program that posts daily movement composition prompts throughout the month, while also hosting community building movement centric events across the US. It is an all inclusive platform that encourages new work and/or pushes current work and is a great creative way to start the new year. Participants can build a new full length work, dance film, or take part just for fun. All participants are encouraged to video and post themselves completing the prompts to share what they are doing. It is a great way to build positive and creative connections within your community, as well as see what others are doing with NACHMO around the US. On the evening of February 15th, at Active Space, local Atlanta NACHMO participants will be showcasing the work they created throughout the month long process. There will also be an Art Raffle of two paintings created by visual artists Benjamin Guidry and Geoffrey Solomon during the NACHMO Atlanta Improv Jam. The Art Raffle tickets are only $2 each and can be purchased at the Showcase! NACHMO Atlanta 2020 Showcase will close with a modest reception, with light refreshments, to celebrate the first year of NACHMO Atlanta!
