A few weeks ago our team had the privilege of working with an AMAZING group of people, Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter. Thank you for entrusting us to lead the planning and ex*****on efforts of such a great cause! The annual “Walk to End Lupus Now!” Event had over 6000 people show up and show out! Now that’s what we call a great turn out!

Event Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of an Event Assistant vary widely, as they are largely dependent on which tasks are delegated by the Event Manager. While each event is different which will determine the actual role of the Assistant Event Coordinator, the core duties and responsibilities are:

Serve as a member of an events team, and contribute in a wide variety of functional areas including decisions around budget allocation, event logistics and facilities.

Serve as support for the Event Manager.

May serve as project leader on smaller scale events, coordinating teams that plan, implement, and manage all aspects of events or manage program elements of larger scale events.

Establish and maintain relationships with company clientele and potential clientele.

Act as company representative at project meetings.

Meet with stakeholders to scope and format of events, establish and monitor budgets, and/or review administrative procedures and event progress.

Research and provide recommendations for potential event locations.

Manage various event elements

Perform other event logistical duties that serve the company as assigned.
