DNT Productions, or Dark and Twisted Productions is a q***r, black woman-owned and operated production company based in Atlanta. The name is a play on the dark and twisted winds and rains of a hurricane, as well as the dark and twisted curls that flow from the owner, MiMi Hurricane’s head. DNT is not just a production company but a place where community has a home.
Whether it’s at WOW! That’s burlesque improv series or The Blackity Black R***e, All shows feature predominantly BIPOC casts as well as showcasing performers of other underrepresented areas in society.
Every event is curated to make sure the audience as well as performers and crew are made to feel at home, are able to & encouraged to be their most authentic selves.
