Here's a number that stopped us in our tracks: if the business events industry were its own country, it would rank as the 16th-largest economy in the world.
That's from the new 2026 Global Economic Significance of Business Events Study, from the Events Industry Council and Oxford Economics. In 2025 alone, business events brought 1.65 billion people together across more than 180 countries, generating $1.3 trillion in direct spending, and supporting 24.2 million jobs.
People sometimes call it the "invisible industry," because you feel its impact long before you ever see it on a budget line.
We see it a little differently. Meetings aren't an expense to trim. They're where the real work happens. Where partnerships get signed, teams find their footing, and communities get built. That's the part we love most about what we do.
For decades, this has been our work: defining the goal, shaping the experience, and producing the moments that move organizations forward. It's good to see the numbers tell the same story we've watched play out in room after room.
Define. Strategize. Meet. Energize.
