Business Resources 101 Recap | Hosted at Clarkston Community Center

In celebration of Economic Development Week, the City of Clarkston, in collaboration with Decide DeKalb and the Better Business Bureau, brought together entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community advocates for Business Resources 101, an event focused on access, growth, and opportunity.

Held at the Clarkston Community Center, the event offered practical guidance on funding, workforce development, and technical assistance, laying the groundwork for a more inclusive and empowered local economy.

With inspiring remarks from Mayor Beverly H. Burks and City Manager ChaQuias Miller-Thornton, participants were reminded that true economic progress starts with equity, connection, and support.

We thank the City of Clarkston and its partners for choosing CCC as a gathering space for this vital work, and all the vendors and neighbors who continue to shape the future of small business in our community.

This is what community investment looks like.
