Crazy how being sick, makes you appreciate fresh food!

Today was the first day I finally felt an appetite coming back - so I kept it simple: fresh peaches, ripe tomatoes, and noodles. Put together a stracciatela salad, soup dumplings with kimchi, and a pork belly tomato sammich.

Now time to take me meds, and nap.

Be back in action soon

Not every day is a win.
More often than not, there are bad days… and then there are really bad days.

Sometimes the people who are supposed to help call off. Sometimes they don’t show up at all. So after finishing dinner service, you stay up all night prepping alone — rolling eggrolls, cooking food, batching mocktails, getting everything ready for the next event.

Then on the way there, you get a flat tire.
Then it starts raining.

Hours go by trying to get the tire fixed while sitting with a vehicle full of perishables that can’t be saved. By the time everything is handled, there’s only a few hours left in the event.

And somehow, the day still isn’t done throwing punches.

You try not to let it get to you, but some days it does.

So you reset.
You learn from it.
And formulate a better plan!

Big shout out to the cuzzo for all the help on this rough ass day!
