Patricia worked for several years in the Information Technology industry and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University (Missouri). Interestingly, her position in the Information Technology field required her to be the technical manager for a successful software company’s technical conference. Her feeling of empowerment from executing the conference successfully transcen

ded to her role as the Chairperson for a national convention. Soon after she found herself taking on several event management roles that allowed her to network and build relationships with different people and vendors in the Atlanta area. Patricia had now discovered the type of business she wanted to create: an event management company. She sought guidance from her longtime mentor, the late Jessie Hill Jr. After a lengthy discussion, SynPant Enterprises was established in 2004. In 2005, the company’s name was changed to SynPant Eprises and is now operated as SynPant Eprises Events (SEEvents Group, LLC). The company’s initial service offerings included all aspects of event planning. Sanderson Industries, headed by the late Walter Sanderson, was SynPant Eprises’ first corporate client. Mr. Sanderson entrusted SynPant with the task of planning his company’s 45th anniversary. The highlight was a gala including a plated dinner for more than 650 guests. We managed each aspect of the event from planning to ex*****on. Business soared from there. In 2006, SynPant Eprises added transportation, premium gifts, and tours to the services offered. SynPant has built a reputation as the business of choice for stellar customer service, creative events, superb organization, and going the extra mile. The team at SynPant Eprises Events is committed to ensuring that each aspect of an event is planned carefully and produces an unforgettable experience. I originally thought I was going to have to forgo receiving my Entrepreneur Award in person because of a SEEvents client event that had been scheduled since last year. Well… the event was postponed at the last minute, and you already know your girl started making plans to get to LAS VEGAS!

And I am SO glad I did because the EXPERIENCE was EPIC!

From the moment I walked in—seeing colleagues, taking pictures, enjoying the program, walking the runway, cheering on my colleagues as they received recognition in their respective categories, and most of all, having the honor of receiving The Entrepreneur Award—I was truly on CLOUD NINE! ☁️💫

What a moment. What an experience. What a journey!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Smart Women in Meetings Team, the nomination committee, my two loves—Michael and Syntara—my family, friends, colleagues, clients, and everyone who has supported and encouraged me along this journey. 💙

The venue search continues!

Every site visit gives me the opportunity to evaluate more than just a ballroom. I’m looking at the entire experience—from the initial welcome to the level of service, flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail.

As an event professional, I don’t just select a venue—I select a partner who will help create an unforgettable experience for my client and their guests.

Each property tells a different story, and every visit helps bring my clients one step closer to the perfect fit.

Today’s Site Visit: The Courtland Grand Hotel | Downtown Atlanta

First Impressions Count!

I had an AMAZING site visit today at The Courtland Grand Hotel, and I left truly impressed.

From the moment I arrived, their team demonstrated what I call radical hospitality. Imagine my surprise when I saw my potential client’s name displayed on the marquee!

My site visit was hosted by the Director and the AV team. As we entered the designated ballroom, my client’s name was prominently featured on the LED wall, allowing me to fully envision the event as I shared my vision.

But they didn’t stop there…

Following the tour, they invited me to a beautifully curated reception to celebrate the visit. To top it all off, they presented me with a personalized welcome document for my client, signed by members of their team.

Those thoughtful touches spoke volumes. They weren’t just showcasing a venue—they were demonstrating a genuine commitment to partnership, excellence, and creating an exceptional client experience.

The Courtland Grand Hotel made one thing very clear: they want my business.

And I like that! 👏🏾

As an event professional, I appreciate venues that understand it’s the little details, personalization, and genuine hospitality that create unforgettable experiences before an event even begins. Beautiful ballrooms are expected—but exceptional service is what truly sets a venue apart.

I’m looking forward to the next round of site visits to see how each property tells its story.

Today, I celebrate 10 years of walking by faith.

After spending 29 years in Information Technology, God called me to connect people not to technology, but to memories, milestones, and meaningful experiences.

What started as a side hustle in 2004 became my calling in 2016. I stepped away from security with no clients, but I never stepped away from faith. God had already prepared the path.

Over the years, I learned that success is not measured by income alone—it is measured by the lives you touch, the relationships you build, and the legacy you leave.

SEEvents has been built on our 4 R’s:
Resume. Relationships. Repeat Clients. Referrals.
And above all, it has been built on faith.

Our mission has never been simply to plan events or book travel. It is to create unforgettable experiences through SEEvents Group, SEEvents Travel, The SEEvents Experience Event Box, our Signature Pre-Mother’s Day Affair – Day Party, SEEvents Travel Collections, and our Signature Cruise Vibes @ Sea.

To every client, mentor, colleague, supplier, team member, family member, and friend who believed in me—thank you. You are part of this journey and part of this legacy.

My favorite scripture has always been:
“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required.”�— Luke 12:48

Another scripture reminds me that faith must be accompanied by action:
“Faith without works is dead.”�— James 2:17

I also carry the lesson of Genesis 19:26 with me: Never look back. Like Lot’s wife, looking backward can keep you from the future God has prepared for you.

So I chose:
✨ Faith over fear.�✨ Purpose over comfort.�✨ Calling over convenience.

Today, I can say with complete confidence:
I have no regrets.

God gave me the vision.�Faith gave me the courage.�Relationships built the business.�Referrals sustained it.�Excellence will carry it into the future.

The first 10 years were built on faith.�The next 10 years will be built on legacy.

And with God leading the way, the best is yet to come.
