When the traditions matter this much, you make room for all of them.

One of the things I love most about planning weddings is that I’m constantly learning. Every couple brings their own families, backgrounds, and traditions into the process, and it’s my job to understand what matters to them and why.

For this couple, that meant bringing Catholic Orthodox and South Asian traditions together for a 300-person celebration. The reception was filled with Indian traditions, performances, and moments that gave both families a chance to celebrate in ways that felt familiar to them.

I’ll never assume I know what a tradition means to a family just because I’ve seen it before. I ask questions, I listen, and I plan around what matters to this couple.

Because when two families come together, their wedding should have room for both of them.

There’s a point in every design process when the ideas in my head finally start making sense to everyone else.

For this wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge, that meant taking the idea of an intimate European garden party and figuring out exactly how it should feel in the space. We leaned into lush greens, muted tones, garden florals, and vintage details that worked with the Conservatory instead of trying to overpower it.

A design proposal is where I work through all of those decisions. I’m thinking beyond the reception tables and considering what guests see when they arrive, where they gather for cocktails, and how the design continues as they move through the evening.

There’s a lot of thinking that happens before anything ever makes it into the room. Seeing it all there on wedding day is still one of my favorite parts.

I’m still wrapping my head around this one.

Georgia’s Finest Events was named one of the Best Wedding Planner & Designers for 2026.

I started this business because I knew I wanted something different for my life. I had no idea just how many incredible couples, vendor friends, and opportunities would come with that decision.

Every wedding has asked something different of me. Every couple who has trusted us has helped shape this business. And every person who has recommended our name when we weren’t in the room has played a part in getting us here.

To be recognized among wedding professionals from around the world is pretty surreal.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us, worked alongside us, cheered us on, and said our name in rooms we weren’t in. I don’t take any of it lightly.

And to Loverly thank you for seeing what we’re building over here. This one means a lot.

You could say golf had a pretty strong influence on this one.

For a couple who genuinely loves the game, a classic country club celebration just made sense. We let that part of their story show up throughout the day in ways that felt playful and personal, while giving the setting plenty of room to shine.

A destination wedding should feel like an escape, not just a change of scenery.

For this couple, Jupiter, Florida was exactly that.

They wanted a weekend that felt peaceful, private, and centered around the people they love most. The coastal setting, soft spring blues and neutrals, and dramatic drapery all worked together to create an atmosphere that felt relaxed, refined, and tucked away from the outside world.

Every design decision came back to the same goal: creating a place where their guests could slow down, settle in, and simply enjoy being together.
