đź’§ MONEY LEAK WEDNESDAY

A quick supply run, parking fee or small material purchase may not seem like much—but those untracked expenses add up.

Missing receipts can make a job appear more profitable than it really was.

The fix: Have your crew photograph every receipt, note the related job and submit it the same day.

Track it. Keep the receipt. Protect your profit.

đź“° TRADE NEWS THURSDAY

Georgia trade professionals have new construction codes coming.

Beginning January 1, 2027, Georgia will implement updated building, residential, plumbing, mechanical, fuel-gas, fire, and electrical codes with state amendments.

Contractors should start reviewing the changes now—not when a permit or inspection is already on the line.

đź’§ MONEY LEAK WEDNESDAY

A completed job doesn’t improve your cash flow until the invoice is sent.

Today, take a few minutes to:

âś… Review completed work orders
âś… Send any missing invoices
âś… Confirm invoices were delivered
âś… Follow up on overdue balances

The longer invoicing is delayed, the longer your business waits to get paid. Make sending the invoice part of closing every job.

Need help keeping your invoicing and books organized? Visit www.brywoodbooks.com

Find the leak. Fix the numbers.

The winds may settle, but recovery takes time—and knowing what to do next can make a difference.

In my latest article on Gwinnett Patch, I share practical steps homeowners can take after Hurricane Isaias, including checking their property safely, documenting damage, contacting their insurance company, and choosing reputable contractors.

At Guardian Restoration Group of Georgia LLC, we believe helping communities recover begins with sharing useful information and encouraging informed decisions.

Please take a moment to read the article and share it with someone who could benefit. Whether you experienced damage or want to prepare for the next storm, I hope this guidance helps you move forward with confidence.
