Sweet moments....our grandchildren know that Santa respesents the spirit of Christmas, which is love, peace, joy, giving, even sacrifice. I loved "Santa" growing up and even after I learned "who' Santa was - my Mom, my Mamaw - I loved the hunt of finding the right gift...even with meager funds, I always gave and received more than I could imagine (my birthday is in December, so my Mom always made it special for me!)

Sometimes I wonder if "being' Santa takes away from the reason we celebrate- the birth of Jesus, whose gift for us was His own life-- and then I realize that even though Christmas can feel commercialized and worse, for the month of December EVERYONE at least THINKS of Jesus.

Santa and I just love being together in all we do. We love children and babies and older people and even the crusty teenagers who pretend to be "put out" with their parents and Santa. We love laughing and loving and the spirit of the season!

I've always loved the Santa bending over the manger...creating this scene with our grandkids is perfection.

May the peace of the season be in you and in your home. ❤️
