Singles are embracing a new trend: ‘goblintimacy.’

Instead of going over the top to impress on your first date, people are flipping the script and meeting for the first time as their real selves: flaws, baggage, icks, and all. The idea behind the trend is to “weed out partners who would never be right for you in the long run.” Because, as the saying goes, “if you cannot handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best.”

While we appreciate a fresh take on dating when we see it…where Events & Adventures members are going, we don’t need any ‘goblintimacy.’ Our activities don’t place you in otherwise uncomfortable one-on-one dating scenarios – they let you be yourself, fostering friendships and relationships naturally over time. Other members get to see you for you: fun, flaws, and everything in between.

From the bright lights of the Vegas Strip to helicoptering straight down into the Grand Canyon—what a week! 🚁✨

Our group spent the past week conquering the West in true E&A style: horseback riding at Bar 10 Ranch, camping under some of the darkest, clearest night skies in the country, and rafting down the Colorado River! 🌊🤠

Nothing builds instant friendships quite like sleeping under the stars and navigating white water together. Huge shoutout to everyone who made this trip so unforgettable!
