Pittsburgh, PA-based; however, I will travel just about anywhere for your day. Heart & Bustle is a new company; however, I am not new to the wedding industry! I GSD (Get S**t Done) to bring your wedding-day vision to life. Opulent floral arrangements, textured linens, and logistics planning give me life! I enjoy everything that comes with the hustle and bustle of a wedding day. Two of my favorite

moment are when a couple walks into their reception venue & they get excited to see how each detail came to life and when I watch the couple partying on the dancefloor enjoying themselves without a care in the world. In my spare time, I’m most likely watching a Golden Girls marathon with my Rocky & Khaleesi (my lapdog rottweilers), trying a new restaurant with my husband, or chatting on the phone with family & friends. I have over ten years of experience in the event industry, although I can effectively plan baby showers, family reunions, galas, and proms. My true passion is wedding planning and all things wedding-related! From time to time, I still dabble in social event planning so that I don’t get rusty. After years of planning on behalf of venues, I realized the best way to serve wedding couples authentically was to become an independent wedding planner, which is how Heart & Bustle was born! My clients enjoy my candor, reliability, sincerity, and calming personality. I’m able to adapt to my delivery based on my clients’ style and personality, which enables me to make an instant connection with my clients. I can bring my clients’ vision to fruition by utilizing quick thinking, creativity, industry knowledge, and a “go with the flow” attitude.

Brides' Guide To: Wedding Guests' Dress Code!

How do you broach the topic of proper attire for your wedding? Your dress code should go hand in hand with your wedding day's style.

You can't assume your guests will know what attire they are expected to wear based on your wedding venue. I've been on the receiving end of an invitation without a dress code. I came in cocktail attire, and the dress code was formal... While this wasn't a huge deal, I did feel slightly out of place at the beginning of the wedding.

The best rule of thumb is if you want your guests to wear something specific, you need to let them know on the invitation. Otherwise, it's truly up to them. Some guests may ask you for recommendations on the dress code, but most will make the best choice for themselves based on your wedding location.

Your engagement/wedding planning will be the talk of the town during the holiday season!

Your friends and family will offer advice as well as assistance with planning your big day. While they mean well, they genuinely don't have what it takes to plan and execute your wedding plans like a wedding professional.

If something doesn't go as planned, they will not have the tools or experience to develop a plan b on the spot without involving you
