Atlanta Varsity Wrestling

Atlanta Varsity Wrestling had taken 3 State Qualifiers to Ford Field this weekend to wrestle at the MHSAA State Championships.

Andrew Brinker Junior at 144 Division 4
Paiglee Moldenhauer Senior 135 Girls Division
Kaycie Moldenhauer Freshmen 140 Girls Division

All 3 State Qualifiers were ranked in the top 16 wrestlers in the State for their Division and weight class.

Out of the 3 State Qualifiers we had 2 wrestlers receive All State recognition and placed within the top 8 of their bracket.

Paiglee Moldenhauer placed 4th in the State and reached a milestone of 100 wins.

Kaycie Moldenhauer placed 7th in the State.

Congratulations to all our wrestlers on their hard work and dedication! We are extremely proud of the achievements this season.

Atlanta Varsity Wrestling traveled to Cadillac today for Regionals. Kaycie and Paiglee both wrestled hard.

Congratulations to Kaycie Moldenhauer she has placed 1st in the 140 lb bracket making her a Regional Champion.

Congratulations to Paiglee Moldenhauer she has placed 3rd in the 135 lb bracket.

Both girls have secured a spot at States and will be travelling to Detroit in 2 weeks to compete at Ford Field.

Atlanta Varsity Wrestling traveled to Charlevoix today for Regionals. Keynan and Andrew both wrestled hard. Congratulations to Andrew Brinker he has placed 2nd in the 144 lb bracket. Andrew will be travelling to Detroit in 2 weeks to compete at States.

Paiglee Moldenhauer 135 lb bracket placed 3rd

Keynan Urquhart 113 lb bracket placed 4th

Andrew Brinker 144 lb bracket placed 4th

Today the Girls had competed in Ga***rd for Girls Districts. All 3 Girls wrestled hard.
We officially have 2 Regional Girls Qualifiers

Kaycie Moldenhauer competed in the 140lb bracket and placed 1st

Paiglee Moldenhauer competed in the 135lb bracket and placed 3rd

Great job girls! 🐾

Girls Regionals will be in Cadillac on Sunday.

We have two Regional Qualifiers.

Andrew Brinker took 4th in the 144 lb bracket
Keynan Urquhart took 4th in the 113 lb bracket
