Good morning Facebook family. It’s that time of year again when we are being plagued by scammers, so I wanted to share what I just experienced this morning, especially to my Atlanta neighbors. Received a call from a “so called” collection agency claiming they are trying to collect a past due balance from Cobb County Water. “Hmm! Okay!” So I asked, what is the address of the residence in Cobb County that this is in regards to. They come back with an address low and behold that is in Clayton County. I said, “Hmm! Okay!” I proceeded to explain to them in a very “Clear and Contrite” manner, that they may want to go back to geography class and learn which address complies to which counties in the state of Georgia and they better get off my phone with the foolishness…. Stay alert Facebook family they are getting fancier with their tactics….
