Last week, the final recital in this season's "dynamic duos" series took place in Ramsey Concert Hall on a lovely spring evening. Brandon Patrick George, flute, and Kenneth Weiss, harpsichord, dazzled us with an all-Bach program, featuring works by Johann Sebastian and his son, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

Led by music director Nathalie Stutzmann, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra returned to Hodgson Concert Hall on Sunday afternoon with a dynamite performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 — featuring pianist Anna Geniushene in her UGA Presents debut. The program also included a trio of gorgeous pieces by Maurice Ravel: "Le Tombeau de Couperin," "Pavane pour une infante défunte," and "La valse."

Virtuoso sitar player and composer Anoushka Shankar returned to Hodgson Concert Hall on March 20 for the first time in nearly 25 years. She and her band played music from her recent albums.
