Trying out some black cocoa powder to replace black food coloring for this black lambeth inspired cake.
This option eliminates having to add a ton of black food coloring to your cake batter or icing. Black food coloring not only tastes terrible, but it also stains your teeth. This cocoa powder tastes like delicious, luscious, dark chocolate and looks and pipes beautifully as well.

I've been looking forward to this beautiful cake for months, and I just love the way everything came together. The wafer paper cake topper was handmade and decorated with peonies, gardenia, roses, and hydrangeas and some greenery.
It was a gorgeous day for a fall wedding at The Sixty-two in Madison with Trumps Catering and Just Peachy Events and TheHollyGarden.
