The End is gone 😢 legendary london club owned by Mr C, AKA Richard West, he was in the band The Shaman who made a number of big tracks in the charts, notably Ebeneezer Goode but also LSI, Phorever People and the album Boss Drum. However that was just his commercial act, he was an underground rave geezer who was more on the house / early tech-house / techno side of things and had a Superfreq night and did a lot of parties in Ibiza. Quite the character apparently, one of them larger than life blokes and he did a pretty good job making The End and keeping it relevant for its 15 years. It was notable for having the DJ booth in the middle of the dancefloor when that wasn’t really a thing. Big ups
