KALA welcomes True Life Trio, Sunday, Oct 20. TLT is a powerful and creative vocal ensemble from the Bay area, forged by three members of KITKA Women’s Vocal Ensemble who perform Eastern European traditional women’s songs.
They are nothing less than riveting and transporting— their performances over the years at KALA always garner a standing ovation. Their latest album features songs from Ukraine, Ireland, Bulgaria, Italy, Albania, Sweden, Norway, Greece and America. Today, more than ever, women’s voices are growing strong and we will be heard.

Oregon Treasure, Songster and Country Blues Guitarist Lauren Sheehan makes her way to the KALA stage this Saturday night. Lauren will be in concert with versatile jazz instrumentalist Steve Cleveland on accordion and piano.

They'll be mixing old blues, early jazz, roots of country, tex-mex and more for a colorfully seasoned night of songs.
