This Thursday (10-16) will be the last batch of fresh bouquets for 2025🄳

The weather has cooled, the flowers have grown tired, and I’m tired too.
I’ll be tearing out this year’s flowers to get ready for 2026.
There’s lots of ā€œend of seasonā€ chores and 3500 tulips to plant!

I want to thank all who have purchased bouquets from Peter Pan this year. šŸ«¶šŸ»
I have made it my mission to get bouquets from my fields to you within 24 hours. It’s been a great year!!!

Also, a huge THANKS to the staff at Peter Pan Market!! You’ve all been beyond helpful and greet me with a smile every time I roll in with more flowers! I couldn’t ask for a better place to get my flowers into the communityā¤ļø

Year three of bouquet subscriptions is now in the books!
What an incredible ride it’s been.
To those that entrusted me with their weekly and bimonthly deliveries, Thank You!!
I truly enjoy the personal touch of delivering to your doors. ā¤ļø
I will continue to have bouquets for sale at Peter Pan Market as long as the weather holds
and then the real work of breaking it all down and prepping for 2026 begins.
Cheers to another great yearšŸ„‚šŸ’

Fall sunrises in the PNW are treasures. Living here, we know that it won’t be long before we’re looking at gray skies and slugging around in our rain gear and rubber boots.
As the garden is winding down, I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by.
Today will be a beautiful day here and even though there’s always much to do, I’m going to try to take some time to enjoy it.
Happy Fall🧔

Sunday mornings are my favorite.
It’s quiet here. The only noises are the bees buzzing, some calves in the distance being weaned, and my rooster, Rudy, letting everyone know sleeping time is over.
I take longer on Sundays walking the garden, cutting flowers, thinking of my plans for the week and letting go of the things I can’t control.
This life can be a lot sometimes.
Everyone has their place to heal. Mine is here.
Just taking time to appreciate the flowers before they are gone.

The Internet vs Reality of flower farming.
The real is grimy, sweaty, and someone is always stealing the spotlight lol.
There’s no manicure, makeup, or hair styling. Dirt is in all crevices, and daily showers are not optional.
Your back aches, your feet throb, and the hours? Don’t get me started.
Sound dreamy?
To me it is! The air is clean, the sun is warm, and seeing something grow from a seed to bloom is incredible!
Flower bouquets grown locally are so much more than the $20 bouquet. It’s
creating a life to be proud of.

ā€œPurpose over Perfectionā€
As I am heading into the peak of flower growing season, I’m retraining my mind. As much as I love for everything to look perfect, there is just not enough time in the day to pull every w**d and deadhead every spent flower. There are plants growing beyond belief and others that have died and are still lying in a pile, yet to be picked up.
I’m teaching myself to let go. I’m focusing in on getting great flowers to those who are wanting to share in local flowers and relish what our summer has to offer.
I’m not going to lie. Walking by a bed that really needs w**ded is hard. Someday I’ll catch up on that. Probably this winteršŸ˜‰
P.S. the yarrow are looking fabulous šŸŽ‰

Sunday mornings…
Wandering through the garden, making my chore list and a plan for the week.
Seeding and w**ding, cutting and bunching. Fertilizing and bug control, and watering, lots of watering.
Now that Summer weather seems to finally be here, the flower season will kick into high gear.
I’ll have a steady supply of bouquets at Peter Pan Market, and you can always text or message me for any special orders you might have. Every day is a good day for flowers!
Wishing everyone a great Summer with flowers, fun, and lots of laughter! šŸ˜Ž

At The Freckled Fawn Flowers we take our breaks seriously…some more than others.
Today was about cutting and collecting all the bouquet ingredients to get to the second round of Summer subscribers, restock at Peter Pan Market, and special order deliveries tomorrow.
The car will be packed and I’m excited to share the joy of flowers with othersšŸ’

It's a rainy day, and I'm not complaining!
The rain is just what we needed, and it's saving me from watering duty.
When the warmth and sun returns, the flowers will be blooming like crazy.
Get ready, subscribers!!
For now, I'm just going to enjoy the break and listen to the rain.
