UPDATE ON The Patch 2021:

Hello all! I have been receiving a few messages this year about whether or not we would be doing The Patch this year and unfortunately we will not be in 2021. We did not have anyone to work the field this year as I have moved to the Twin Cities. Additionally, the crop drains from the soil and for future yields to be as vibrant and abundant as the first year, we may need a year for those nutrients to replenish! We are as sad as any to not be doing The Patch this year and would love for anyone to keep the spirit of the sunflowers alive by posting your pictures from previous years in the comments under this post! If you have any questions or if you just want to talk sunflowers, please shoot me a text at 920.562.0063

Beautiful painting by Judy Parins of The Patch at sunset!

My latest painting. It is 18” x 24” oil on canvas. I love the peacefulness it gives me and the thick palette knife strokes I used for the foreground leaves and flowers. I will be taking A Sunflower Sunset to the framers tomorrow.

WHAT A YEAR. Thanks to absolutely everyone involved in making this my little escape from reality for the past three weeks! In times of hurting, violence, and uncertainty, it’s always important to surround yourself with people that make you feel as if those problems have gone away temporarily. This field and more importantly the people have provided me with the best possible outlook on the world and I’m blessed to have amazing people like you to share smiles with each and every day! Peace. Ever wondered what the inside of a fully grown sunflower looks like? Well here it is! This giant was found today and has hundreds of seeds for eating, oil, and planting!

Every night in The Patch is the best night ever! Unfortunately, we only have a couple nights left! The Patch will officially be concluded this Sunday (8/16)! Come on out tomorrow and Sunday for some final smiles before we’re gone! This has been the best season yet and I’m saddened to watch it go so quick! See you for the last two days in The Patch tomorrow and Sunday🌻🐝

Look at that sea of yellow🐝🌻 This is looking like the last weekend to experience the beauty of 100,000 sunflowers!! I will be out selling from 10am-8pm today and hoping to see some new faces❤️ @ The Patch.
