Position: Floral Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant (Growth Potential)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and adaptable Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant to serve as the face of our shop on the road and a key contributor behind the scenes. In addition to delivering orders, you’ll handle customer calls, enter shop orders into our system, and keep our shop clean and stocked—with the exciting opportunity to learn floral design and advance within the business!
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries: Transport floral arrangements safely and promptly to local residential and business addresses using the shop vehicle.
Customer Service & Phone Orders: Answer shop phone calls, assist customers with inquiries, and accurately process phone/in-person orders into our Point of Sale (POS) computer system.
Flower Processing: Unpack incoming fresh shipments, trim stems, condition flowers, and organize bucket storage.
Shop Upkeep: Keep the shop clean and organized by sweeping floors, breaking down boxes, and sanitizing buckets.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and feel comfortable driving a delivery vehicle.
Computer & Phone Skills: Comfortable answering phones, communicating professionally, and using a computer/POS system to input and manage orders accurately.
Work Ethic: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 30–40 lbs (flower buckets and heavy pots).
Positive Attitude & Growth Mindset: Friendly demeanor, eager to pitch in wherever needed, and excited to learn about flowers!
