Dear Parents,
You are gifted a precious thing in your children. God trusts you to raise them in the faith, keep them safe and teach them your families values. It's tough work. And, in today's world, there are many obstacles and roadblocks. Somedays, your job is joyful and feels like such a blessing. Others, you struggle to keep your head above water and don't know if what you are doing is working.
Here's the thing. You are doing something right. These kids that you send to Carol Joy Holling Camp are extraordinary. They are filled with life and love and the Holy Spirit and they are so willing to share it with us. We LOVE them ALL. We have the ups and downs too. We have the joy-filled moments when we see the light of Christ shining through and we have the moments when we aren't sure we are getting through. But ultimately the joy far outweighs the sorrow.
THANK YOU for sending your children to CJH. It's hard to trust others with our most precious cargo, and we are so very grateful that you are trusting us this summer. We want you to know that we LOVE your children; we value the trust you put in us; and we are praying for you - as you raise these awesome young people!
