I absolutely love to hear from my couples how they met. It convinces me over and over how certain people are simply meant to find each other - no matter how impossible the journey to do so appears.
Mario from Mexico and Lena from Ukraine lived on Long Island, NY and married in Fletcher, NC. I was so happy to officiate for them with their parents present on Thursday

What a delight to officiate for Caeli and Scotty at the very cool Circa 29 and the elegant Restoration Hotel downtown Asheville this past Saturday. Love was definitely in the air - and a most joyful gathering of family and friends were there to celebrate with them.

Last minute wedding plans:I was just contacted last night to officiate for Eric and Juan this evening. I'm happy to say that even with such short notice, the ceremony was spot on - and more than the couple had hoped for. Once again I was happy to have the vows translated into Spanish.

It was a pleasure to officiate Ashley & Tyler's marriage ceremony yesterday at the Lake Lure Inn. Their ceremony was originally set for last November however, the venue cancelled due to hurricane Helene. I'm so glad I was able to re-schedule and be there with them for their big day.

As an officiant and owner of BeLoved Ceremony since 1989, due to hurricane Helene, I have had 12 ceremony cancellations so far .. starting a few days before the storm, up until the end of December and beyond. One or two might re-schedule, others will not because their venues no longer exist, roads are indefinitely closed and mostly because they are from out of town, and will not travel to this area. I am most grateful that I am safe and that my home is basically intact. I've lost a big chunk of my yearly income; that is an inconvenience, not the tragedy that I see when I look around me. I am most fortunately "open for business" in and around Asheville and Western North Carolina.
