Although I was contacted just a few days before their wedding day, It was a lovely experience getting to know Cheyenne and Dustin and an easy process to create their marriage ceremony. I was honored to officiate for them Saturday at the romantic Bent Creek Lodge in Arden, NC.

I was honored to officiate Clare and Reyes' marriage ceremony on March 8 at the very beautiful Loralei Inn, Canton.
I always love to hear how my couples meet, as I believe if they are meant to find each other, they will - no matter the distance or circumstances. Clare, from Ireland and Reyes from Mexico were destined to find each other and their ceremony was the loving demonstration.

I had a wonderful time yesterday officiating Beth & Neale's marriage ceremony at the Pinecrest Bed & Breakfast, downtown Asheville. There were many heartfelt and loving moments expressed by the bride and groom, as there was much to remember and share from their 50 year friendship. One special moment was when Neale re-created a love song for Beth.

What fun to officiate Barbara & Johns marriage ceremony this past Monday. I received their call early that morning - they were in an "emergency" situation, as their officiant could not get to them due to the snow, freezing weather, etc. They were hoping to marry on Feb 2 at 2 pm...2-2-@ 2. I could not get to them either, but offered to officiate their marriage at my home.
We created their ceremony (that brought happy tears to a few of their guests) and held the celebration on my road, as my driveway was too slippery to reach my deck.
Happy couple, happy me - that I was able to make their marriage vision come true.

Susan is truly such an amazing person. During our phone calls she took the time to get to know us and get a sense of us as a couple. She made us completely comfortable throughout this process, respected our wishes, and absolutely delivered on the day of. My now husband and I are not very religious but have a sense of spirituality. She was able to create a ceremony that felt true to us and encompassed us as a couple in such a beautiful way. She always emphasized how this moment should be the way we imagined it and to stay present with each other throughout the ceremony. It was absolutely perfect. Before the Month of October passes, I wanted to post that October 5 was the 36th anniversary of BeLoved Ceremony (formerly Interfaith Ceremonies). Yes, October 5, 1989. It has been 36 years that I have so gratefully been officiating marriage, commitment, baby blessings, funerals, etc ceremonies. I have officiated thousands of marriages - and still counting. Yes...thousands. I will, one day, go through all my records and post a more accurate count, as I have kept the files for every wedding, etc that I had the pleasure of officiating.
