Linda was a dream client who became a friend. She and Chris formed a special bond and he’ll always cherish it. We both will. The world lost a beautiful soul last month.
This month would have Linda and Loretta’s one year anniversary. We are honored to have met them and to have played a tiny part in their decades-long love story, and are grateful for their friendship.

This absolutely dreamy spring wedding was a very special one for us. S+J had a lot of road blocks during planning, but they handled them with such grace. The vision was a weekend celebration in the fall of 2024, with all of their friends and family surrounding them in a little Glamping community. The original venue, which was a big part of their vision, didn’t make it through the hurricane. While we pivoted and began looking for the perfect spot to postpone to spring, S+J planned their small wedding ceremony at family property in Lake Lure. They got married on their original date, with their families and their two sweet pups in attendance, and with the help of a few of their vendors!
Then, with the perfect new venue secured, they set a new date for the spring. We updated the menus and springified the flowers and rentals. We found lodging options where folks could all stay in the same little town. It was hard, and there were a lot of difficult emotions involved. A lot of uncertainty and reassurance. We wanted so badly for this sweet couple to have (and to be able to enjoy) their dream wedding weekend. So we made it all come together into the most gorgeous, fun gathering to celebrate these two. I’m grateful for the experience of working with S+J, and I’m so glad that they got the weekend that they deserved, with the help of some really incredible vendors.

The plan was to share more of our awesome couples, but Instagram is not cooperating. 😕 2025 was, for a lot of us, an incredibly bittersweet year. Tough, but also really wonderful in so many ways. Thank you to every couple who allowed us to help bring your wedding day dreams to life this year. We love y’all! Enjoy these photos of some of our 2025 couples. I’d say we’ll strive to be better with social media next year, but I’d rather focus on real relationships than the ones just on a screen. 😉

Can we just talk about Stephanie and Michael for a sec. These faces? They looked like this alllllll day on wedding day. 😍 These two are just so JOYFUL, and they truly had the best time with each other. That’s what we love to see! Can’t wait to share more from their perfect wedding day!!

Elli + Grayson.
She was just so joyful about all the things.
He was so great with making sure that all the details were taken care of.
The weather was perfect (I fought the wind, we problem solved, and everyone enjoyed the breeze). It was such a gorgeous spring color scheme. Her mom made all of the decor, and her attention to detail was wonderful. We love that.
They are such a sweet couple, and their families are just wonderful.
I told her dad he might be my second-favorite father of the bride ever (actually I think I said he may be tied for first, and if you think you’re the child of the dad he’s tied with, you’re probably right 😂) and her mom was just as great.
His mom was sweet and stylish and so grateful, and his dad was so very proud!
His brother is a musician, and recorded their first dance song, which was the sweetest touch.
They may not even realize how blessed they are, but I hope they do, and I wish them so much joy through the years.
This couple reminded me of the importance of the joining of families. They were a little more traditional than many of this year’s couples, which I love! I need these reminders sometimes. 🩵
