Jaclyn and David’s day felt like something straight out of a fairytale ✨
An enchanted forest, a stunning river, a heartfelt ceremony and the sweetest picnic tucked beneath the trees. It was peaceful, personal and completely beautiful.
Jaclyn shared that their day felt “seamless, personal and perfect,” and that the picnic looked like it belonged in a fairytale. Jay made them feel instantly comfortable and created a ceremony filled with so much love and care.

We couldn’t be happier for these two or more grateful that they trusted Elope Outdoors with such a special day!

These two said “I love you” for the first time on a backpacking trip at Black Balsam, so coming back here to get married just felt right. 🥹
And truly, they are SUCH an Elope Outdoors couple.
They started with the sweetest first look tucked into the forest (Chris’s face 😭), then hiked up the mountain with their families, their pup Oliver, and our crew for their ceremony.
A little rain decided to join us too, but literally no one cared! Everyone came prepared, pulled out the umbrellas, embraced the sprinkles and just kept having the best time.
And then the mountains gave us that dreamy light. ✨
Katie + Chris are just laid back, adventurous, completely in love kind of people, and you could feel it all evening. Their families were so much fun, their love for each other was so obvious, and we absolutely loved getting to be a part of this one.
Also... can we please have more wedding days where everyone wraps up in a cute blanket and eats cake on top of a mountain?!

There’s something extra special about an elopement that brings a whole family together. 🤍
Megan + Shea brought their four kids along for their Asheville elopement, and from the ceremony hugs to celebrating together on the mountaintop, their day was intimate, joyful, and so full of love.
The mountains were always meant to be part of their story.
“We chose to get married in Asheville because we love nature and the outdoors, and we both feel a high spiritual connection to the mountains. We drove down the Blue Ridge Parkway in the mountains on our first true date.”
Years later, they came back to the Blue Ridge Mountains with their kids to make it official. 🌿⛰️
A little rain, a lot of fog, four happy kids, and one newly married family.

And because it only felt right, a little ode to Dolly from the mountains she called home 💙

A summer mountaintop elopement 🧡🌿
Katarina + Rushton married their best friend surrounded by misty Blue Ridge views, wild summer color, and of course their dog, Bandit. 🐾
They even stopped to pick wild blueberries along the way, which feels like exactly what a summer elopement in the mountains should be.
Colorful flowers, fog rolling through the mountains, ch*****ne, cake, blueberries, and your pup by your side. Pretty perfect if you ask me. ✨

These two found their way back to each other after three years and knew they didn’t want a big wedding. They wanted a day that felt true to them.
A beautiful morning in the Blue Ridge Mountains, their favorite person by their side, and nothing to focus on except getting married.
They spend their time hiking, camping, traveling, flying, and chasing adventures together, so it only made sense to start this next chapter surrounded by nature.
Simple. Relaxed. Joyful. Just the way an elopement should be!

June in the Blue Ridge is hard to beat. 🌿🌸

Emily & Alan couldn’t have picked a more beautiful time to elope. The rhododendrons were in full bloom, the mountain views were incredible, and they spent the evening simply enjoying being together.

Lexie & Paul wanted an intimate day surrounded by the people who matter most. Their kids and immediate family were there to witness it all, and every part of the day felt relaxed, meaningful, and full of love.
One of the sweetest things Lexie shared afterward was that having everything in one place helped eliminate the decision fatigue that can come with planning a wedding. That’s exactly what we hope to provide : an experience where you can spend less time stressing over details and more time being present with each other.
