As Matthew Ryan Kelly and I step into our roles as Pro Fora travel advisors, we’re able to extend that experience far beyond the wedding day—guiding our couples through their honeymoon and destination travel with the same level of care and intention.

From multi-day wedding weekends to curated getaways around the world, every detail is considered, every moment designed to feel seamless, elevated, and entirely your own.

Let’s be real: white and blush are classics for a reason, but lately, we’ve been craving a little more… soul. 🎨

I’m officially calling it: we’re moving past "Pinterest-perfect" and stepping into the era of Color Drenching and radical personalization. Think less "standard wedding" and more "immersive art installation."

Coming from an Interior Design background, my brain literally won't let me just "pick a color." I see every space as a canvas waiting for a bold statement. (Seriously, I’ve been known to stare at a blank wall until I’ve mentally redesigned the entire room 😂). We’re obsessed with saturating spaces in rich, intentional hues that actually tell your story.

Whether it’s the vibrant pop of coral peonies against deep blue accents or a monochromatic lounge vibe that feels high-end and editorial, we want your day to reflect YOU, not a trend report.

If you feel like you’re just floating through your wedding day, soaking in every laugh and every tear without a single worry... that’s exactly the point. 🕊️

There’s a massive amount of "invisible work" that goes into a seamless celebration. It’s the micro-boundaries we set with vendors, the 16 years of industry standards we lean on to spot a problem before it even exists, and the constant, quiet logistics happening entirely off your radar.

Most people see the flowers and the floor plan. We see the timing of the kitchen, the backup plan for the backup plan, and the subtle cues that keep the energy exactly where it should be. (And maybe us doing a slightly unglamorous power-walk behind the scenes to make sure the champagne is ready! 😅)

I’ve got your something old, something new, something borrowed, and... wait, where’s the blue? 🧐

Enter: the subtle, classic blue ribbon. 🎀

I’m a total sucker for the classics, especially when they involve a bouquet this dreamy. A timeless mix of crisp white ranunculus and lush hydrangeas is always a winner, but the real secret sauce? That soft, light blue ribbon trailing from the stems.

It’s proof that you don’t need to go overboard to honor tradition. A little detail goes a long way in tying a whole aesthetic together without screaming, "Hey look at me, I’m the blue part!" 😂 I’m usually just out of frame making sure every strand is hanging perfectly (while trying not to trip over a stray vine 😅).

AI is amazing for checklists, timelines, and reminders.
But then real life happens.

True story from a Carolina wedding: the transportation driver pulled up to the WRONG hotel. 🙃
Guests were ready. Timeline was tight. And the driver was… not where they needed to be.

No app can call the driver, confirm the address, redirect the pickup, update the wedding party, and keep everyone calm, all at the same time.

When I started this industry 16 years ago with a background in interior design and a heart for celebration, I hoped to build something special. But looking back at the hundreds of couples we’ve served across the Carolinas, the real reward isn’t the recognition: it’s the relationships.

It’s the quiet breath before the aisle, the way your grandmother looked at you during the first dance, and the sigh of relief when you realize every detail is being handled by a team that cares as much as you do.

When I’m touring a venue, I’m not just looking at the pretty chandeliers. I’m mentally measuring square footage, checking the "guest flow" (so your Uncle Bob doesn’t get stuck in a human traffic jam near the bar), and figuring out how to transform a blank canvas into a vibe that feels like *you*.

Having that design background means I see things a little differently. It’s about more than just picking a color palette. It’s about spatial awareness: knowing exactly how to layout a floor plan so the dance floor is packed but the dinner tables feel intimate. It’s about understanding how light hits a room at 6:00 PM and how to use textures to make a huge ballroom feel cozy.

Think of it as the perfect marriage of logistics and aesthetics. We aren't just making it look good; we’re making it work. 🥂
