An algorithm can suggest a color palette. It cannot feel the weight of a fabric.

The Material Knowledge Gap is where digital tools reach their absolute limit. A screen can show you the hex code for "blush" but cannot convey how heavy silk charmeuse drapes compared to matte satin. An app can recommend "linen" but cannot tell you that the vendor's "linen" is actually a poly-cotton blend with a plasticky hand feel.

Texture is a physical language. The way a napkin folds. The way a tablecloth drapes. The way light interacts with a fabric's weave. These are tactile judgments that require human hands and trained eyes.

I get to help couples celebrate one of the most meaningful days of their lives. I get to turn ideas into reality, solve the unexpected, cheer people on, and watch love stories unfold right in front of me.
